  • Mokuleia, an area that is a part of Waialua begins around the end of Waialua Beach road and where Crozier drive starts.  This street is beachfront, and the houses start at $2M and go up to $4M.

  • From this area, several roads connect Crozier Drive to Farrington highway.  On these roads, there are larger two-acre lots with single family dwellings on them.  These start at $1.5M and go up to $3M. 

  • If you take Farrington Hwy North and there are a few other smaller residential beachfront streets.  The area is mostly agriculture farmland, but you also will find the Hawaii Polo Club, Dillingham Ranch and the Dillingham Airfield.  



 
 

Wailua

A former sugar mill town and rich in plantation history, Waialua is just southwest of Haleiwa and is located at the base of the Waiʻanae Mountains.

  • A former sugar mill town and rich in plantation history, Waialua is just southwest of Haleiwa and is located at the base of the Waiʻanae Mountains. The Waialua Sugar Co. processed its last sugar harvest in 1996. 

  • The Waialua Sugar Mill is the center of the town and now home to several businesses like Waialua Coffee,  The North Shore Soap Factory, and several of Hawaii’s best surfboard shapers whom manufacture boards for several top surfers in the world. 

  • Across from the Sugar Mill, is a small shopping center with a post office, convenience store, laundry mat, veterinarian clinic, Jerry's Pizza,  coffee shop, feed store, and several other shops.  

  • Waialua is made up of several residential home areas with lot sizes starting at 3,000 square feet.  The price for a single family dwelling starts at around $500K and $1M.

  • There are also several condominium buildings located on the beach side in an area known to locals as cement city. These condos start at around $250,000 and go up from there to close to a $1M for a beachfront top floor unit.

  • Beachfront houses in this area start at around $1M and go up to $3M.    

  • The area schools are Waialua Elementry, and Waialua High and Intermediate School.

Historical Haleiwa Town

Haleiwa is a quaint small historic town that has a variety of small shopping centers, art galleries, and restaurants.  The town has become very popular with tourist visiting Oahu.

  • There is 64 berths at the harbor.  Fresh fish is caught and brought in daily.

  • At the end of Pupukea road is the Boy Scout Camp and there are several hiking trails through the mountain. 

  • Lot size in Pupukea starts at 1 acre.  

  • There are several homeowners that grow and sell produce from their lots.   

  • Houses are from small little cottages to grand estates. Pupukea has some of the best bluff lot views of the whole North Shore.  

  • Prices start at $1M and go up to $3M.

  • Area public schools are split down the middle of Pupukea road with half being Waialua Intermediate and High School and the other being Kahuku Intermediate and High School. Both sides of the road are Sunset Beach Elementary.

  • During the winter months, the top professional surfers from around the world come to compete at several of the surf breaks along this stretch of beach.  

  • There is a bike path that starts at Sunset and goes all the way to Waimea Bay. 

  • Sunset area has several neighborhoods with the average lot being 5,000 square feet.  The mountainside of Kamehameha Road does offer some 1 acre lots. 

  • Sunset housing prices start at $1M and go up to $8M for beachfront.

  • Area public schools are Sunset Beach Elementary, Kahuku High and Intermediate School. 

 
 

Kawela Bay 

Kawela Bay is in between Sunset Beach and Turtle Bay.  It’s a small area of houses along the shoreline.

  • Recently there was a development in this area for ranch lots that are also on the Mauka side of Kamehameha Hwy.

  • The house sites are on large acreage.  The prices here start at $2M.

Turtle Bay

The Turtle Bay Resort opened in 1972 and over the years has been a favorite North Shore hangout amongst many guests from all over the world.

  • Turtle Bay is located between Kahuku and Kawela Bay. 

  • This area is the only resort zoned area on the North Shore.  

  • There are two championship golf courses, tennis courses, restaurants, and many more activities on the property. 

  • Kuilima condos are also located in the Turtle Bay area. These condos start at $450K and go up to $3M for a beachfront one.  

  • Area public schools are Kahuku Elementary, Kahuku High School and Intermediate.  

 
 

Kahuku

Kahuku is just west of Laie is the proud town of the Kahuku Red Raiders. Kahuku High School is right in the center of it all. The football team is known for winning state championships and has produced many NFL players.

Kahuku Sugar Mill

 
  • The small town has a shopping center, the Kahuku Sugar Mill, which was once a thriving sugar mill.  Now it is home to several small eateries, the post office, a convenience store, a gas station, and Kaiser Medical Clinic.       

  • Adjacent to the Mill, you find various food trucks including Giovanni’s Famous Shrimp and Uncle Mike’s Huli Huli chicken.  There are various cuisines available at the food trucks.

  • If enjoy playing golf, there is a nine-hole public course that is along the ocean with great views. 

  • You will also find the only hospital on the North Shore here in Kahuku.  There is an emergency room that services the entire North Shore and East Shore of Oahu.

  • Area public schools are Kahuku Elementary, Kahuku High School and Intermediate. 

  • House’s in Kahuku start at around $550K and go up to $1.2M   

 
 

Laie

Laie is an active family community. There is a central shopping center that serves the area and includes a grocery store, small movie theater, a few places to eat, a hardware store, and more.

  • Laie is also home to The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints temple and Brigham Young University.    

  • A very popular tourist attraction that is near by is the Polynesian Cultural Center, known to locals as PCC.

  • The area’s public school is Laie Elementary.  

  • The middle school and high school are Kahuku High and Intermediate.
